End Exploitation: An Immersive Experience

December 3, 2026 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Mallets Creek Library in Ann Arbor

A flyer about an event titled, End Exploitation: An Immersive Experience, to raise awareness about Labor Trafficking at Mallets Creek Library in Ann ArborWe want to shed light on Labor Trafficking and bring public awareness to our communities with tangible solutions for them to put into action as soon as they leave.

This walkthrough exhibit highlights a different aspect of Labor Trafficking in each of the 7 stations. We do not want this to be a lecture where only people’s minds are engaged, we want a full body immersive experience. We want people to feel the cotton that is picked, touch the coffee beans, eat the chocolate, hear stories of those who have been exploited, sit at a sewing machine that could make their shirt…be inspired by the resilience of Survivors.

We want to leave a memory not just in minds, but in bodies and hearts to help each person who walks through the exhibit to understand that trafficking is happening, they were a part of the problem, but CAN be a part of the solution.

Demand drives supply, if as consumers we are demanding transparent supply chains, then we will see a shift in the products that are supplied.

This is our dream, to help see a world free of exploitation by people who understand the culture that is driving it. We dream for cultural shifts away from objectification and toward recognizing the people who are behind the product. We dream of a world where trafficking doesn’t exist and we, as a global community, came together to do something about it.
